Venture Building Championship (VBC) 2025
The Venture Building Championship for Algeria
The Venture Building Championship (VBC) 2025 is this year's flagship DeepMinds League program—an intensive, hands-on competition where university students across Algeria form teams to ideate, build, and launch innovative ventures.
Unlike traditional pitch competitions, VBC puts participants through real startup conditions with time pressure, limited resources, and high stakes—all designed to identify and develop the next generation of Algeria's entrepreneurial talent.

How It Works
Your Journey from Student to Founder
1. Univesity Team Application
We select universities to participate in the national championship. If your university is chosen, you'll have the chance to represent your Univesity!
2. Build & Battle Day at each University
Your university selects 40 students and forms two teams of 20. You'll battle together to solve a real-world challenge in a fun, fast-paced competition.
3. University Squad Selection
From the winning 20, a final squad of 10 students is selected based on vote, merit, collaboration, and mentor feedback, to represent the university in the championship.
4. The Qualification Rounds
University teams compete in the Battle & Build qualifiers, where they’ll innovate and present their projects to earn a spot in the final rounds.
5. The Final Rounds
The 8 winning university squads (10 students each) now enter the national bracket: Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals at DeepX — Algeria’s national deep tech summit
6. Winners to Venture Builders
The winning teams are on-boarded in DeepMinds Venture Building Program, and investment with national backing.
